Ziplining in the rain
On Friday, my mum sister and I went ziplining on top of a mountain. The mountain was near Juneau, in Alaska. Ziplining is a tree-based aerial trekking course. Safely clipped in harnesses, participants glide from platform to platform by way of free-moving pulleys suspended on cables high above the ground. The course design is such that natural gravity acts as the propelling force. First we took a shuttle up to the camp where the jeep thing took us up to the area were we got kitted up, after that we split into groups were we met our instructors then they took us up to the practice ropes, they were very boring. But the next 9 were amazing and on a few we could do front flips. And on most of them there was challenges like pretend to be a salmon matting. There was also a suspension bridge that Zoe and I liked to jump on. After we did all 9 ziplines we went and had some water taken from the waterfall that some of the ziplines went over. We also sang happy birthday to two people one of them was and instructor and the other was zoes friend who had her birthday the day befor.
