The British Museum

On Saturday, my dad and I went to the British Museum, whilst the girls went to the Science Museum. First, my dad and I went on three trains so we could get there. When we were there we first did a random search and we went to the mummies. It was cool. Then we took some pictures with the mummies. After we passed the mummeis, we took some pictures of some dead bodys. Then we looked at the Japanese section. my dad really enjoyed it. Then we saw the Rosetta stone. t is very famous stone because it told us how to read hieroglyphics. Then we went home. On the way home, we had some ice cream (very unhealthy). For dinner we had excellent Bolognese made by my mum.

The Zero Line

On Saturday we went to a park that the Zero Line ran through. The Zero Line is based at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, in London. It was established by Sir George Airy in 1851. By 1884, over two-thirds of all ships and tonnage used it as the reference meridian on their charts and maps ( From Wikipedia).

We first went to a playground and stayed there for a bit then Zoe and I went to sit whilst my mum and dad and baby sister looked at the to of the hill. My dad came to get me and Zoe to tell us that they had found lunch. My dad and I shared a pizza whilst my mum had chilli and my sisters both had chips. Then we went to the planetarium where we watched a cool movie thing about planets. We then had some very frozen ice cream and went home.

To London

On Friday, we went to London. When we went past the queens place we only recognised it because of where Bob stood (Bob is from a movie called minions). We went home and had a liberal little relax time from the long trip from Birmingham. For lunch we all had sandwiches except my mum she had yoghurt and berrys. Then we stayed at home for a little longer and them had dinner. We had spaghetti Bolognese it was yummy. Then I read a comic, it wasn't very long. Then I went to bed on the couch.

EURO GAMER

On Thursday, we went to Euro Gamer! We got up at 8 so we could get there when it started. First, we played Minecraft hunger games. It was only my dad, sister, and I. But my dad won. I killed my sister and my dad killed me.

Next we played Gang Beasts, a silly game where you try to throw the opposing players off the platform you are on. Then my dad and I had a quick game of Mayan Death Robots, a little like a worms; a different game.

Then we played some Splatoon, a game where you have to cover as much as the map in paint as you can. Then we entered a competition of Splatoon but we lost in the semi final.

Then we played a round of Stikbold, a game like dodge ball but more fun. We then went back to Minecraft, I lasted longer than my dad and sister then I fell off a floating island and I died.

Then we played a board game. We were all bank robbers and we needed to get away. It was called cash&guns. And I won with not a single scratch on me (I'm so good). We had some lunch. Then whilst my dad went in the over 18 section, my sister and I played Gang Beasts again.

We went shopping but did not buy anything. In the short amount of time until the end I played I Am Bread where the aim of the game is to become toast.

We then went home and had a swim which was refreshing. Overall, my two favorite games were Splatoon and Gang Beasts.

Zip-lining in the rain

On Tuesday, we went zip-lining in the rain. My mum and sister went first whilst my dad and I took Ada shopping. My dad and I had a cheese pastry for lunch and Ada had a banana. Then my dad and I had our turn. The gear we took was so heavy, it felt like I was pulling a truck. The first one was about a kilometer long, but the others were shorter. In all, my favorite was the second one because it was the fastest. Unfortunately, it was raining witch hurt my face because we were going so fast. When we took off the gear, I felt like I could fly. For dinner we had sausages. They were yummy.

The accident

On Sunday, we went from Scotland to whales. About three and a half hour on we had an accident. The GPS system told us to go up a dirt track but then we realized the road was blocked shop we tried to back out then my dad pulled out to fast and got us stuck on the road. We all bundled out as fast as you could say" jerry's my uncle."About 4 people speed and helped us and the police were even called to fend off traffic. We called a tow truck and got out. We then got home. We then stayed in the car Because we were going to thing called bounce below. Bounce below was a thing of snakes and ladders. A little like Skyzone but under the ground and with slides. After that we went home. For dinner that night we had spaghetti Bolognese but without meat.

Second day off golf

On Friday, my dad and I went golfing again. We did 9 holes, my dad and I were much better than the last time we played. After that, we went to Mabies farm. On Mabies Farm, there were trampolines, bobsled sort of things, rope swings, and quad bikes. My favorite thing was definitely the quad bikes. We were only meant to go on for 5 minutes, but my dad was taking to the guy who ran it, so we got 15 minutes instead. We went home. We watched some Star Trek and went to sleep.

First game of golf

On Wednesday, we went to a golf course. The first golf course we went to did not let us hire golf clubs so we went to another golf course. Luckily the guy who ran out lends us his clubs. We were very bad, very very bad. At the top there was a lovely view of the mountains of Scotland. At about the sixth hole my sister and I got bored and went to go home. For dinner we had spaghetti it was nice. We then watched some star trek. Then went to bed.

Caerlaverock castle

On Tuesday, we went to Caerlaverock castle. The castle had three sides. On one side there was a bog, and on the other side there was the sea, so you could only attack from the front. I went in the castle there was a bakery, well, and a store house. They could of survived there for a long time. Unfortunately it was attacked. The castle held out for three days straight. Finally the roof fell and they surrendered. There was a playground outside the castle but it was disappointing. Then we went home. For dinner we went to the pub it was nice.

The Long trip (part 2)

On Monday, we then got off of the boat and waited whilst my dad got the car that we will take to Scotland. The trip took 4 hours. It got boring. On the way there, we stopped at the a supermarket and a bakery I had a sandwich so did my dad. Then we continued on. My dad wanted to stop at a music shop in York and he and my sister bought a whistle sort of thing. Then we started on the trip again. When we got there, it was a tiny town. We lived in a cottage. For dinner, we went to a pub: the only commercial building in the town.

The Long trip (part 1)

On Sunday, we had to go on a train to then go on a boat. We got top the train station 2 hours early. The train took 1 and a half hours and we then took a shuttle to the boat. On the boat we found our room and it had a window which was good. For my dinner I had a bacon and chicken sandwich. Strait after dinner we went to watch a movie. The movie was Inside Out. In our room there were only 2 visible beds. But then Zoe looked in the cupboard and found a ladder. Then she figured out that the other bed came down from the roof of our carbon. We then went to sleep.

Trying to go bike riding

On Saturday, we tried to go bike riding. on Saturday,  the bike rental place is closed. So we couldn't go, so we chose to go to a park. After about an hour of playing, we then got up and went to have lunch. I had a burger so did my dad and my sister had Caesar salad. We then convinced our dad to share a cheese cake, but only then did Zoe and I realise that it wasn't Belgium cheese cake, it was New York cheese cake but it was still yummy! We tried to find a snow dome for my mum but we did not find one.

The Long Tunnel

On Friday, we went to the school of Stella, Zoe's friend from Belgium. Zoe went in for about an hour and I looked after Ada. After that, we went and had lunch at a kid friendly cafe. But I don't think it should be kid friendly because there were pictures of naked girls on the walls. After lunch, we went in a kilometer long tunnel under the water. On the other side, there was a playground that we played at for a while then we headed home.

Antwerp Clue

On Thursday, we went to Antwerp clue, Antwerp clue is a game where you get locked in a room for 1 hour and you have to try to escape by solving puzzles and trying to escape. First, we booked in to the hardest one they, had but most adults couldn't do it so we did the easiest. We had to wait 2 hours, so we went up a tower that you from witch you could see the whole city. Unfortunately, we did not win but it was still fun. It was super fun but even though that we lost, we still had tremendous fun. After that, we got to dress up and take a picture
. We had dinner at a burger joint and they were nice then we headed home to sleep.

To Belgium

On Wednesday, our family took a train to Antwerp. The train trip took about 1 and a half hours to get to Antwerp. We got off and hailed a taxi. We got to our hotel and chose rooms. The catacombs

On Tuesday we went to the catacombs well we didn't really we figured that it would take about 1 and half hours to get though. We waited about 5 minutes before the people behind us started to roll up cigarettes and smoke. We didn't want to stand for 1 and a half hours for the catacombs with people smoking behind us. So we left and decided that we would pick at random witch way to go. After doing that for a while we went to the Arc de Triomphe to try to watch some cars crash but we didn't. We had a  beget and continued on our way home.

Boat Tour

On Monday, Ada, my dad and I went on a boat tour of a canal in Paris. First we went to go pick up some more passengers. We then did a u turn then headed to go to a lock. A lock is an elevator for boats, it drained the water out of the section you were in so it was the same as the one that was in front of you. So you could continue on your way. We passed though 4 locks in total and one big tunnel. We came home. Ada still stayed up all night so I still had to stay up all night.

Fathers Day

On Father's day, we went to Pompidou the Paris museum of contemporary art. But first we decided that we would go to the pet market. There were lots of bunnys, bird, and fish. We stayed there for about 15 minutes before we left for the museum. When we got to the museum we had to wait in a big line when we got in we started to explore. I found a big, kids area. There was also a Video arcade and a awesome gallery on the top floor. There was a room with a video of a camera traveling though a throat. It was gross. We tried to get our dad in, but only then we realised that adults needed a ticket. He gave us his phone to take pictures of all the art. When we got in about 15 meters, my dad was allowed in. The guy who let us go in gave my dad a freebie. It was still very awesome. My dad stayed to look at Picasso. The rest of us walked home. I made dinner it was pasta with meat and four cheese sauce. Not too brag but it was amazing. Then zoe made chocolate sauce for the ice cream that was also very yummy but I had to stay up all night because Ada would not go to sleep.

Luxembourg gardens

On Saturday, we went to Luxembourg Gardens in Paris. We tried to get there but train, but the train station was shut, so we took two Ubers there instead. We had to get 2 because the van we ordered never came and there are five of us. Uber is a company sort of like a taxi but it's cheaper and it's just normal people who use their own cars.

When my dad and I got there, the girls were at the other side of the park. My dad and I walked past a big pond and saw some model sailing boats that we wanted to use later. We found the girls. They had a bike for Zoe, but when she started to ride it, someone old her to get off it because it was forbidden to ride bikes in the park. So my mum returned it back whilst all of us gotmodel sailing boats. Mine was a pirate ship and Zoe's held the Australian flag. We spent half an hour to 45 minutes playing with the boats until we got sick of it.

Then we went to a playground which cost 2.5 Euros to get in. My sisters spent about an hour in there while my dad and mum and I were sitting on bench with a nice view of the park. My sisters also had a pony ride.

We had dinner. I had a croque monsieur, a French delicacy. My dad had a quiche and my and sister had a salad. Ada was asleep. Dad took Ada home and my mum and Zoe and I had crepes. I had a salted caramel crepe, my sister had butter and sugar crepe and my mum had ice cream. We then headed home and I had to stay up nearly all night because Ada couldn't get to sleep after her nap.

Escargot

On Friday, the girls went to go on a hot air balloon and my dad and I went to a music shop. On the way there my dad and I stopped at a park, we both thought of a word each and we both said it I said Foutain and he said dark green so we tried to find one but we didn't, so we continued to the music shop.  then we decided that we might come back to the shop to get the thing that my dad wanted. We then wandered along until we found a place where they had savoury crepes. They also had escargot which I had because I really wanted to, it was weird . We then got to the music shop just in time befor it closed for lunch. We then walked on home but on the way my mum said on text that the hot air balloon was closed so they headed home too.

The Eiffel Tower

On Tuesday, went to the Eiffel Tower it's much taller than in the pictures. We took a few pictures underneath the Eiffel Tower than my dad and I went up the stairs whilst the girls took the elevator. My dad was trying to take pictures of the Eiffel Tower in a different way to the ordinary pictures of the Eiffel Tower . On the first floor there was a restaurant my dad thought it would be expensive as but it wasn't but it still was a little bit expensive. On the next floor up we all had to wait in a huge queue to get to the tippy top and we got a nice view of the whole city of Paris. When we got home my dad and mum went to get some groceries whilst the kids watched ratatouille because it was set in Paris.

The Broken Finger

On Wednesday, my mum and sister went to a hospital in France to see if my sister's finger was broken
When, they returned, it turned out that it was. While they were out and Ada and I stayed at home. We are staying on the other side of the river to the Eiffel Tower Ina little apartment. The day before, a creepy man put a decorated egg in a dead garden near my mum and dads windows. My mum thinks he is a sophisticated robber who put a video camera inside the egg for surveillance and my dad hinks it's a blown egg that's been painted. I think we should just throw something at the egg to destroy it.

The trip to Paris

On Tuesday, we went to Paris. We first had to have a good half an hour train trip. Then wait around an hour and a half but about 25 minutes befor our plane started we realised we were in the wrong terminal and had to go to our terminal on the other side of the airport. We got a birthday present for her we got some Lego friends but don't tell her. When we got to Paris we went to our hotel but the man with the keys could not come so we went to the playground. When we he came we got in and had some rest then Zoe fell and hurt her arm. We then decided  the next day. That we are going to go to the hospital for Zoe. After we got settled in my dad and I went and got dinner for the family.

Trying to feed the ducks

On Monday. We tried to feed the ducks but failed because it was bucketting we hoped it would stop but it only got worse so we did the long run home. So when we got home we watched YouTube and Zoes finger was still hurting from when she tried to make herself go faster on the gocarts. I'm a cereal killer because I kill cereal.
